James Etheridge is a Georgia artist and writer. He has been drawing and painting all his life, and became interested in the written word at an early age. He was introduced to the modern classics in high school. He loves all style of literature, from children’s books to the classics. James loves all forms and medium of visual art, but his main focus is drawing and painting in all mediums, including acrylic, watercolor, pencil, pen and ink and digital. He is a lover of classic cars as well, Volkswagens in particular. James’s literary influences include Ernest Hemingway, James Michener and Lewis Grizzard. His favorite artists are diverse, from Vincent Van Gogh and Claude Monet to Salvadore Dali, Roger Dean and Berke Breathed.
